1st Wide Track Winner of August IS….

August 1, 2011

It’s now August and we have a few more weeks of winners to be drawn in the weekly “BORA 24″ Wide Track Clamp Giveaway”.

This is the way it works; each week we draw the name of one lucky winner from all of the comments posted on ANY of the episodes, blog posts, cross-posts, ANY content we have on the website. From the pool of comments submitted by you the audience we then pull one lucky winner and a new 24″ Wide Track Clamp is on it’s way to your shop. It couldn’t be easier!

If your not Jack, and you’ll know if you are because there should be an email from me to you in your email box right now, you still have several more chances to win one of these great clamps this month.

If you’ve had a chance to use a BORA Wide Track Clamp of any size, we’d love to hear what you like about it. It’s that simple!

I’ll draw a winner from the various comments over the next week then announce the winner next Monday, and then we’ll repeat the drawing all over again each week until the folks at BORA come to their senses.

GOOD LUCK, can’t wait to hear from all of you.

I haven’t used anything like this particular product. Can it be used for a panel saw, similar to what the home centers have for cutting sheet goods? I know Rockler sold a plate to attach a router or circular saw to – don’t know if they still do – so that you could make a panel saw out of it, but this might be so much easier. Particularly if you are short on space.

The BORA Wide track clamp does have a sled for circular saws and it works quite well actually.

I used it to break down sheet goods in the beginning of the current build I’m posting. Easy to attach, easy to use.

I already have a track clamp but no sled. Do you know if the sleds are available to purchase seperately and if they fit other clamps?

    • Matt says:

The sled is sold separately. They’re currently 50% off at Woodcraft.com now through August 27, 2011.

They fit all the lengths of the Wide Track Models, but not with the earlier versions. The Wide Track models have a built in T-track system for the sled and auxiliary clamps.
