276 Why Do We Woodwork? Pt 1

June 12, 2008

Our very own guest expert Hendrik Varju has returned for another visit here at Matt’s Basement Workshop, and this month we’re mixing things up a little bit. Rather than our usual question and answer show, we’re talking a little more philosophical and asking the question “Why do we woodwork?”

Today’s episode is part 1, and after you listen to it I’m willing to bet that many of you feel the same way about why it is we woodwork as we did.

I would really like to download these older podcasts from 2008 like this one ( #276), but there doesn’t seem to be any way to do it. Can you advise how? I have become a regular listener to your show, and have now hooked up to your new feed. However I’d like to catch up on the older ones.

      Hi Al,

Thanks for checking out the show and asking about some of the earlier episodes.

I switched websites at the beginning of the year and as I suspected would happen in the change over…a lot of shows didn’t make it.

I’m slowly finding the time to migrate them over, but for now if there’s an older show you’re interested in downloading. The best way to do it is to visit my old website at http://www.mattswoodshop.libsyn.com.

There you’ll find all the shows from 2008, 2007 & 2006. Once you’ve found the episode you were looking for, scroll to the bottom of that episode’s shownotes and you’ll see a little link that where you can download it.

Typically it’s a blue-colored link with the file name, just “right-click” your mouse on it and then select “save target as…” and you can download the episode to your computer.

I hope to at least have all the 2008 episodes available for download on the new site, in the next couple of weeks but for now this is probably the fastest and easiest way to do it.

      Take care and thanks!
