345 3rd Anniversary of MBW Podcast

January 25, 2009

Hi everyone, January 26th marks the official third anniversary of Matt’s Basement Workshop being on the internet.

As I’ve said before, it’s been a lot of fun creating the show. And I’ve not only learned a lot from it, but I’ve also managed to make way more friends than I ever imagined I would!!

So thanks to all of you who’ve been with me since the very beginning and thanks to all of you who’ve come along since then!

Today’s episode we take a little stroll down memory lane…or as I mistakenly refer to it during the show…”memory alley”!!

We have 3 schwag winners in honor of our 3rd anniversary and they are Kyle Barton – winner of a Milescraft Hinge Mortising Kit, James Hart – winner of a Milescraft turnlock baseplate & metal bushing kit and Brian Burrit – winner of a Benchcrafted Mag Blok & set of Barnacles.

Congratulation gentlemen and thanks for entering your names.

  1. *Sniff*… kinda makes me nostalgic… Congratulations for 3 years of being on the cutting edge, Dude! Setting the pace!

FWIW, “memory alley” is just the inner city/politically correct version of a country lane. S’all good!

Looking forward to the next 3 years, Bro!

  2. Congrats on the 3rd year. Video and sound looks great, not sure if the new pc or not. And hey, you can keep your memories in an alley. I won’t hold it against you 🙂
