353 Whiteside’s 7/16″ Guide Bushing

Router Bit of the Month for April 2009 isn’t a router bit at all, but is instead a router accessory. The Whiteside 7/16″ Precision Ground Guide Bushing is a great alternative…some might even say an upgrade…to the typical guide bushing that comes with your manufactured router jigs.

Easy to install, easy to use and with better results than the flimsy plastic versions I’ve had with all of my own jigs. The Whiteside guide bushing makes using router jigs actually enjoyable, but more importantly reliable.

    Matt,

That’s really Nice… I may have to get me one, of course, I need to get a Plunge Router first…

Got a Fixed base don’t care much for it, it’s what I use in my Router Table on my Table Saw.

    Nice Video…

      Thanks Handi!

The guide bushing is pretty neat and you could outfit it on your fixed base router for use in some of the router jigs too.

But if it helps to justify a new Plunge router I’m right behind you LOL
