Susan if you ever have questions, don't hesitate! There's a lot of great resources out there for just about anything you want to do in woodworking.

Bob's tutorial is a great resource!

As a compulsive researcher and newbie to woodworking ( I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm having fun), I have been trying to figure Sketchup out. Thanks for the reference.

I second that Matt. I've been using Sketchup for a couple of years now and I've created some quite complex things with it. Like most woodworkers, I learnt what I know by just playing with it.

I received Bob's e-book a few days ago and haven't been able to put it down. I've learnt so many short cuts and there have been numerous 'Aha!' moments.

Highly recommended.

Hey Matt

Thanks for reminding me about Bob's book. I spotted it a few weeks ago and was going to order it before the deadline then I promptly forgot...what can I say, life got in the way. However, I just ordered it. It will be a great supplement to the online video series he did on Popular Woodworking's site...that too is a great Sketchup resource.
Take care
