OK he’s not my real twin brother, unless we were remaking the Arnold Schwarzenegger/Danny Devito movie of a similar name, and I doubt he’d be willing to admit we were “kind of” like colleagues if it weren’t for the fact I know I have a good chance of bribing him with some Bell’s Brewery Beer.
But regardless of what our relations are, Chris Schwarz has been a driving force and regular fixture of the Woodworking in America conferences since their origination in Berea Kentucky in 2008.
I’ve mentioned it previously, the 2012 WIA conference is something woodworkers from around the country and even around the world are gearing up to attend. This year is unique in that it’s happening on both sides of the country, something people have been asking for since that first one in Berea went over so well.
The first show in Pasadena, California isn’t too far off and some of you might still be on the fence whether to attend or not. In case our show with Popular Woodworking Magazine’s very own Megan Fitzpatrick back in June of this year wasn’t enough to convince you to attend, they’ve rolled out the big guns and brought in Christopher Schwarz to convince you it’s the place to be.
For more information on attending either the Pasadena, California event October 12-14, 2012 or the Cincinnati, Ohio event November 2-4, 2012 visit the 2012 Woodworking in America Conference website at www.woodworkinginamerica.com.
Sorry about all the skin…apparently the marketing department is trying to appeal to a wider audience???
