A Very Lee Valley Christmas at Matt’s Basement Workshop

Tis the holiday season and gift giving is on everyone’s mind. As woodworkers we’re no different than anyone who’s passionate about their hobby, and receiving the right gift makes all the difference.

Over the years I’ve received a number of great gifts for my shop from family and this past year has been no exception. Of course the fact it feels more like the giving has been going all year long thanks to the folks over at Lee Valley and Veritas.

If you weren’t aware of it, Lee Valley has been advertising for a while now on the website, and in exchange I’ve had a chance to get my hands on some of their latest offerings and even some older items that I’ve always wanted a chance to tryout.

I’d never recommend something I haven’t tried myself or wouldn’t use in my own shop, so I don’t mind sharing with you some of the items I highly recommend when asked about gift ideas.

One other thing I think works in our favor is the fact Lee Valley isn’t just a woodworking supplier, but also have a great catalog of gardening tools and accessories, hardware and even unique gifts…some of which I share with you that my family just might be getting this year. Enjoy!!
