Matt’s Basement Workshop has been and always will be, a free podcast for everyone to enjoy. I’ve never had any intentions of charging for the content you’ll find here nor will I ever do so.
Of course as much as I try to avoid it, I still have regular expenses for putting the show together. Most of these are related to postage, and hosting services for keeping the show up and running.
So how do I cover all these expenses? Well there are a number of ways that help out. The first and most obvious is the advertising you see on the site from the great folks at Lee Valley and Affinity Tool. The advertisers on the website are selected for what they can offer you the audience, not how much they pay for the spot. So if you get the chance, please pay them a visit. I’m confident you’ll find something you’ll like.
The second way we pay the bills is from income we receive when you visit our affiliate links at stores like Highland Woodworking, Woodcraft, Amazon or Rockler. By clicking on the links found on this page, everytime you buy something for yourself the show gets a small commission off the sale.
The third and final way is by appealing to the generousity of you the listener.
