Coming up this week…UPDATE!!

APRIL IS OFFICIALLY GOING IN THE BOOKS AS A PODCAST KILLER! SORRY, BUT DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES…NO WOOD TALK ONLINE THIS WEEK. WE’LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT’S RESCHEDULED.

While I’m still getting back in the shop and studio to put together a show for later this week, don’t miss the next Live Wood Talk Online this Wednesday at 9PM EST. It’s been a busy, hectic and yet relaxing April (never thought that combination of descriptors would be in one sentence, describing the same thing) and as the month is coming to a close Marc and I are finally coming together to hangout, talk shop and hopefully answer some questions.

If you have any questions for both of us, don’t forget you have two options for getting them to us. Either email us by CLICKING HERE or call and leave us an voicemail by dialing 623-242-2450. We hope to hear from you! As always, the chat room will be filled with fellow woodworkers and if you haven’t experienced a visit there during a show you don’t know what you’re missing.

A few more things to note about what’s coming up this week. In a couple of days I’ll be releasing the latest episode of Matt’s Basement Workshop, in it’s latest form. Latest form you’re saying to yourself? While I love posting multiple, short episodes throughout the week the fact is it’s not always easy to do. So I’ve decided to post one or two, longer episodes each week which will cover at least a couple of topics in as much detail as possible…without going overboard (if that’s possible for me).

If you haven’t entered for the schwag drawing this month, you have until Thursday to do so. Just click on the link at the top of the page titled Schwag Giveaways to get registered. As usual, we have some great schwag to giveaway from some equally great manufacturers and vendors, so don’t miss out on your chance to win.

Have you ever thought about building your own wooden handplane? I know I have, and I’m always on the lookout for classes where I could learn how. I currently heard of one coming up in the next couple of months in the Cincinnati area. Would you be interested in signing up? Drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do to get you more information.

And last, but not least…my co-host of Wood Talk Online, Marc Spagnuolo will be in the Atlanta area this weekend coming up. Marc is coming down to Highland Woodworking for a weekend of fun and education. If you’re in the area, don’t miss your opportunity to stop by and check it out.
