The Drunken Woodworker shows us how to make a curved inlay

December 17, 2013

Don’t let the title throw you for a loop, David Picciuto’s “Make Something” blog is full of great content and very little to do with David’s passion for imbibing (at least that I’m aware of).

The latest post this week is a great little tutorial on “How to make a curved inlay”. In a short video full of details, David demonstrates how he uses a technique to sandwich a few thin layers of contrasting veneers between a curved solid piece of stock and then plane it smooth.

After watching the video, I’m now trying to decide where and when I’m going to try it myself, thanks David!
