Lawn Care and Woodworking – Like Chocolate and Peanut Butter?

November 30, 20101 Comment

Over the past few years Matt’s Basement Workshop has been very fortunate to be included on several lists of “Must Visit Websites”. It’s an honor to be thought of as a destination for internet travelers. I wonder if this is how the largest ball of yarn feels?

I received an email the other day from a website dedicated to “Lawn Care”, in fact the website is www.lawncareservice.com, informing they included Matt’s Basement Workshop on their “40 Whittle Wood With Me Blogs”.

At first I thought there was a mistake, I have yet to do a show on whittling (although I do dabble), but once I visited the list for myself I was quite honored to be included with some pretty popular names in the woodworking blogosphere.

For example, the list included both my co-hosts on Wood Talk Online Radio Marc Spagnuolo & Shannon Rogers. It also included Kari Hultman “The Village Carpenter”, Rob Porcaro “Heartwood”, Popular Woodworking Editors’ Blog and…well checkout the list for yourself to find out who the other 34 must visit sites are, I think I found some new blogs for the rss reader!

A huge thanks to Keith Howard for including the show, it’s much appreciated.

I love the description of the Sauer & Steiner blog:
A blog that deals primarily with power tools in wood working
