Lost Art Press “The Essential Woodworker” Schwag Giveaway

October 17, 20102 Comments

I love it when we get something really special in the schwag pile to giveaway. Don’t get me wrong, we have some GREAT items each month but once in a while we get something really special.

Last month I received a package from the folks at Lost Art Press. In the box were two copies of “The Essential Woodworker” by Robert Wearing. Sadly they’re not originals, but Lost Art’s reprints are every bit as informational and worth the look.

In fact it’s so good, I ended up reading halfway through one of them before I realized it. Don’t worry though, I replaced the copy with one I bought at WIA so no one’s getting a second hand copy.

If you’re not familiar with “The Essential Woodworker” here’s what you’ll find inside –

“Robert Wearing’s hand-tool masterwork. This book contains every skill you need to get into hand-tool woodworking. And it is explained with a minimum of fuss, using accepted traditional practice and with the assistance of more than 500 beautiful hand-drawn illustrations. “

Make sure you’re signed up for this month’s Schwag Drawings for an opportunity to win a copy for yourself. If you don’t win in October, try again in November or just do yourself a huge favor and head over to www.lostartpress.com to buy a copy.
