Here’s another batch of tools to checkout. Hope something catches your eye!
Highland Woodworking is now carrying Easy Wood Tools “Full Rougher”
The Easy Wood Tools Full Rougher comes with the 1/2″ Ci1 R4 Radiused Square Finishing Cutter and can also use the 1/2″ Ci1 Square Roughing Cutter.
* Carbide cutting tips come in 3 primary shapes: square, round & diamond. * Full size for turning on larger lathes. * Multi-sided carbide cutter tips long lasting and easily replaceable. * Double grip handles are maple with copper ferrule. |
Lee Valley & Veritas recently introduced their new Dual Marking Gauge.
With two independently adjustable rods, this gauge lets you set two measurements at once, so you can quickly alternate between them when transferring or marking repetitive dimensions.
Eagle America introduces their new Router Table Downdraft Box. A great add-on to any open bottom router table. The Router Table Downdraft Box greatly improves dust collection on your router table without a major redesign. The downdraft box attaches directly to the bottom of your router table and encases your existing router in a box to capture dust and chips before they hit the floor.
* 13″ x 10″ x 14″ deep the downdraft box is designed to house most types of routers and router lifts. * Made out of stamped steel, the box is easy to assemble and has a large access panel allowing easy access for adjustments to your router. * The unit has a drop-off hole cut into the bottom for attaching a 4″ dust port (included) |

This is too weird! It’s like you’re almost reading my mind!! You aren’t, are you?!?! God, I hope not. But seriously, my next project is an assembly/outfeed/bending/router table. Although I’ll probably build my own downdraft box, That lays out the how very well! Thank you, Matt!
Ah yes, the all purpose/specialized/shop buddy table LOL. Actually I really need to do something for my “router table”. It’s horrible and sits on top of a workmate portable bench…and that’s not even steady half the time. Ideas for the fall maybe?
