Sam’s Music for the Wood Shop No. 3

Sam’s back and she has another music recommendation for the wood shop.

Another “Folk Rock” band for ya. This week it’s The Lumineers and they’re a good band to have on your iPod!

They’ve gotten me through MANY a house cleaning, several LONG road trips, and LOTS and LOTS of baskets of laundry. They’re a band you’ll want to have the time to spend listening too, because it’s a whole album commitment, not just a random song in a playlist on shuffle.

The Lumineers will take you on a journey through harmonies that are so fun, you just don’t want to stop listening. They even have a few songs that I could easily put on repeat for an hour…which I HAVE done on more than one occasion!

You’re probably thinking to yourself “Really a full hour of just one song?” YES! They get me hooked on it and it’ll be in my head for hours, days, months…forever!

Which album would I recommend to get you started? The self titled album The Lumineers is a good one for a long day in the shop.
