Spoken Wood Podcast No. 38

May 2, 2010

Today’s episode was written and recorded by Ron Hock of Hock Tools and author of the sharpening blog. The article is titled PSA and was originally posted April 18th, 2010.

There are some very important things we as woodworkers need to take care of before we ever step into the shop, and I’m not necessarily talking about keeping the significant other happy…although THAT is important too!

But what I’m referring to today is making sure we take care of ourselves. Without good health, our time in the shop is…well…it’s…let’s just say it has it’s limitations. But don’t take my word for it, let’s hear what Ron has to say too.

Wow, words well spoken, I hope everybody listens to Ron. I,m of that age group, Ive been tested just recently, I’m fine.
However this time the topic struck me personaly, my kid sister is battling cancer for her second time, due to a incorrect diagnoses of the flue and time wasted she’s now fighting for her life.
I’m tired of watching my friends and family die.

So to every body don’t be scared, just go do it.
