Spoken Wood Podcast No. 60
Welcome back to the Spoken Wood Podcast, I’m your host Matt Vanderlist and before we get started with today’s episode I want to take a moment to say thanks for being so patient over the past few weeks while the show went on Hiatus during the busy month of July.
Welcome back to the Spoken Wood Podcast. I have a feeling I’m not alone when I say July is a quiet month for woodworking. With the hot summer sun beating down and so many opportunities to do things with family and friends, the shop gets a little break from the usual hustle and madness it sees the rest of the year.
While the summer still has a way to go before it turns to the chilly months of Autumn, then followed by the frigid months of Winter, it seems that summer has already reached its apex and it’s starting its slow, lazy wind down. So it’s a perfect opportunity to get things starting back to normal.
Today’s episode is an article that was written and read for us by Charles Davis of the “Wood Zealot’s Workshop”. It’s titled “Buying tools for both you and America!” and was originally posted September 8, 2008.
