Where’s Hendrik?

October 24, 20100 Comments

It’s been a while since we last heard from our “Guest Expert” Hendrik Varju. Since the beginning of the summer to be exact. But it’s not because he’s gone into hiding or stopped woodworking. The fact is, I’ve found it difficult to find the time to schedule a call with Hendrik since we’ve returned from the Summer Hiatus.

That’s a real shame considering we have a lot to talk about too. At the end of the summer Hendrik released two new DVDs, which we had the pleasure to be one of the first websites to announce. The titles for these two are Surface Preparation and Staining and Hand Finishing and Rubbing Out both of which can be found at www.passionforwood.com.

You can also read more about them on the post we released shortly after the announcement of their availability – CLICK HERE TO READ.

As you should also know by now, Hendrik offers classes in his own shop and we have a list of those class dates and times on the homepage of our website. But just in case you’ve missed it here’s a class coming up this week you still have to sign up for –

Saturday October 30th – 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
“Using Splines and Slipfeathers” – new topic!

For more information or to sign up for this class contact Hendrik at info@passionforwood.com.

As for when will our next visit with Hendrik occur? It’s coming up in November and will be released around the 25th. Just in time for a long Thanksgiving road trip, or something to listen to while stretching out on the couch after overdoing it with the Turkey.
