The first of the two Woodworking in America 2012 Conferences get underway this weekend in Pasadena California. If you’re planning on attending I hope you’ve made your arrangements because there’s a good chance this thing is going to get crazy…well as crazy as woodworkers can get!
With speakers specific to the West Coast conference there’s a wide range of topics, everything from handtools to power tools to marquetry and design.
It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the same fun and have the same learning experience that attendees of the Midwest conference have enjoyed for the past couple of years.
If you can’t make it for any of the classes at least make it to the marketplace! Ask any attendees of previous conferences and they’ll tell you the marketplace is the place to be.
From boutique tool makers to big-name retailers the marketplace has something for everybody including free educational seminars and giveaways.
For more information, including dates and times visit the Woodworking in America conference website at www.woodworkinginAmerica.com
If you plan to attend either one of the events feel free to share your plans with your fellow online woodworkers by filling out the “2012 Woodworking Conference Buddy Tracker” put together by our good friend Aaron Marshall at the Garage Shop blog.
